Awards and Accolades
Since ITAC’s birth in 1988, we have been fortunate to be recognized for our effort and growth in the industry. Most notably, we have received mentions from the Richmond Area Rising 25 and The Zweig Letter Hot Firm List of the Fastest Growing Architectural/Engineering/Planning and Environmental Consulting Firms in the nation.
The Rising 25 list salutes the Richmond, Virginia, area's entrepreneurial spirit and highlights the fastest-growing, privately held businesses. It was a program co-sponsored by KPMG LLP, the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce and "Metro Business," the Monday business magazine section of the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
To make the list, companies must be privately held and for profit. Although financial information submitted in the nominations is kept confidential, each company must be able to show minimum revenue of $200,000 in the base year, the first of a five-year period considered for this year's recognition. Larger companies must show sales of more than $7.5 million. Also, current revenue must exceed the previous year's level.
Though the Richmond Chamber of Commerce ended the former list in 2007, ITAC is proud to have been included on the list for 6 of its 17 years in existence.
Since 1999, The Zweig Letter has released The Hot Firm List, a list of the top AEP Environmental Consulting Firms in the nation based upon dollar and percentage growth. ITAC has been honored three times since the list’s launch.
