Wood Pellets

With the Accord mandate for European countries to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, wood pellets have been sought globally as a source of fuel.  Annually, millions of tons of virgin forest wood have been harvested, ground, pellatized, dried, and then exported to Europe as replacement of fuel.  The result is 2% of petroleum burning projects being replaced with wood pellets.  That is a wonderful beginning, but it only means that we have 98% margin for improvement.

Whether you are a large-scale plant searching to sell your wood pellets globally or a saw mill operator looking to sell your product regionally, ITAC is there to assist you.  We specialize in both fuel pellets and 100% soft wood animal bedding pellets.  Our plants produce premium grade pellets, which are the highest quality and cleanest burning grade and contain less than 1% ash content.

ITAC is looking toward developing plants east of the Mississippi River.  Currently, we designed and are in charge of one of world’s largest wood pellet plants in Selma, Alabama.  ITAC also is in charge of a wood pellet plant located in Ashland, Virginia.
