On January 14th, Governor Timothy M. Kaine announced that Industrial TurnAround Corporation’s affiliate company, Wood Fuel Developers, LLC, will invest $18.7 million dollars to construct a wood pellet manufacturing plant in Greensville, VA. Wood Fuel Developers, LLC was also awarded multiple grants through the American Reinvestment and Recovery ACT, administered by DMME for $1,000,000, $2,300,000 from the Greensville County Industrial Development Authority for construction of the plant and site improvements and infrastructure, $175,000 from the Governors Opportunity Fund, and $175,000 from the Tobacco Region Opportunity Funds.
In the upcoming weeks, Wood Fuel Developers, LLC will finalize the purchase of the site, receive funding commitments, and execute their project performance agreements.
